SpellCity is in open alpha. By using the service during alpha, you agree that the product is experimental, may change quickly, and may lose, reset, alter, or delete data without prior notice.
Alpha Service
SpellCity is provided for early testing and feedback. Features, content, routes, accounts, progress, word packs, audio, coins, settings, and availability may change at any time. We may suspend, limit, reset, remove, or discontinue any part of the alpha without prior notice.
Do not rely on SpellCity alpha data as a permanent record. We do not guarantee uptime, uninterrupted access, data retention, backups, progress accuracy, or compatibility with future versions.
Accounts and Age
Self-service accounts are currently limited to users who are at least 13 years old. A verified parent or legal guardian may create a managed learner profile for a child under 13 through the family dashboard. Do not create a self-service account or provide an email address for a child under 13. School-managed provisioning is not yet available.
You are responsible for the activity on your account and for using a password that is not reused from sensitive services.
Data During Alpha
Alpha use may generate account records, progress records, gameplay attempts, uploaded or generated content, feedback, logs, and operational diagnostics. Maintainers may access, review, export, modify, reset, or delete alpha data to operate the service, debug issues, improve the game, test migrations, manage abuse, or recover from failures.
Do not enter sensitive, confidential, regulated, or private information into SpellCity during alpha. The alpha is not intended for protected educational records, medical information, financial information, secrets, or other sensitive personal data.
Acceptable Use
Do not use SpellCity to upload unlawful, harmful, abusive, private, or infringing material. Do not attempt to bypass authentication, access admin-only features, overload the service, scrape private data, or interfere with other testers.
No Warranties or Liability
SpellCity is provided "as is" and "as available" during alpha, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the maintainers are not responsible for lost data, interrupted access, inaccurate progress, content errors, audio errors, or other alpha issues.
